Pakistan has finally announced the Under-23 squad for Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Cup. According to the announcement, which came after a delay of 15 days, all-rounder Hammad Azam will be the captain of the team and former Under-19 coach Mansoor Rana will now do the same job for Under-23 side.

As a court has stopped acting chief selector Moin Khan from working, the squad was announced by the other members of the selection committee, including Azhar Khan, Salim Jafar, and Farrukh Zaman.

The squad includes Hammad Azam (captain), Umer Waheed, Babar Azam, Ehsan Adil, Raza Hassan, Usman Salahuddin, Umer Siddiqui, Usman Qadir, Muhammad Waqas, Bilawal Bhutti, Ruman Rais, Azeem Ghumman, Muhammad Rizwan (wicket-keeper), Nasir Malik and Muhammad Nawaz.

Along with coach Mansoor Rana, team manager Aftab Baloch, physiotherapist Usman Ghani, and trainer Abrar Ahmed are also going to Singapore with the team.

Taimoor Ali, Mir Hamza, Jamal Anwar, Shahzaib Ahmed Khan and Zeeshan Ali Ashraf will also accompany the team as reserves.

The team will leave for the event, to be held in Singapore from August 15 to 26, on the second week of this month.
