Chris Gayle has become a signal of terror for bowlers around the world after scoring the faster ever century in the cricket history. The aggressive performance before the most important tournament of the year is enough to send shivers down the spines of many great bowlers. Maybe because of this reason they have to clarify that they are not scared of Gayle.

World number one spinner Saeed Ajmal says he is not afraid of Gayle and he will dismiss Gayle without much effort.

Pakistan’s first encounter in the upcoming tournament will be West Indies on June 7 at the historic The Oval stadium.

Ajmal is confident that he will not need to use new variety as he already has enough tools of his trade to cope with the opponents’ batsmen.

The talented spinner and other Pakistani bowlers will be facing some of the world’s best batsmen in the Champions Trophy. Pakistan are in group B along with West Indies, South Africa and archrivals India.

It may be surprising that the current Pakistani squad does not have a single bowler who has ever dismissed Gayle in one-day cricket. Ajmal himself has faced Gayle in three ODIs but could not bowl out the mighty batsman. Pakistan’s main bowlers Junaid Khan and Mohammad Irfan will be face-to-face with Gayle for the first time in international cricket. Let’s see what Pakistani bowlers do to take hold of the West Indian batting great.
