Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez has reached his 100 career wickets in the second ODI against Ireland played at Clontarf, Dublin today. Hafeez reached the milestone, dismissing the debutant James Shannon in his last over and overall 44th over of the Ireland’s innings.

Hafeez is Pakistan’s 18th bowler to achieve 100 or more ODI wickets. Wasim Akram has most number of wickets under his belt for Pakistan. He took 502 wickets in 356 matches. Waqar Younis is trails behind him with 416 wickets.
The right-arm off-spinner has achieved the record in 118 matches at an average of around 33 and an economy rate of more than four. His best figures were three wicket for 17 runs which he achieved in September 2003 in Multan against Bangladesh. Hafeez has improved a lot throughout his career and reached to the top in world rankings. And because of an equal brilliance with the bat, he is still ranked number one all-rounder of the world. He is at fourth position in world rankings for bowlers.
